You may wonder why past lives matter because the past is in the past and we are living in the here and now. But there are several very important reasons why you should understand and know your past. One is that you may be having problems in this lifetime which are a result of things which happened to you in your past life. For example, you may be having bad dreams, or have a phobia which all related to who you were and what you went through maybe a hundred or two hundred years ago. If you can find out what it is and get to grips with it the problems stop.

Having a reading is by far the best way to do this because a hypnotist will claim he can regress you but he may take several efforts at a very high hourly rate and he would insist you go to see him, which may also involve taking time off of work. You may even have to take a day off of work unpaid. Whereas a good reader can do you a past life reading online without you having to be inconvenienced at all and at a much cheaper cost.

Another reason it can be beneficial is when you feel a sense of not belonging. This is especially true with people who have emigrated or who have no family.

The only time I am suspicious and negative about past lives is when the person insists they were a very famous and wonderful person such as Cleopatra and it never occurs to them that most of us were very ordinary and totally unknown and poor in the past. Interesting. As a believer in reincarnation, our past lives give both richness and depth to our soul, which, through the aeons of time, most of us will have had good and not so good memories of times long gone. It stands to reason, that, through innumerable lives lived, there have been lives which very probably led us in being someone who could be termed "famous or well-known". Sometimes though, it could mean that we knew and loved that well known person, and our affinity could, in some cases, lead to a feeling we were them. I agree though, lots of people latch onto being someone from history.
