Snowbird.
Lift your spirit towards the moonlight,
spread your wings, and learn to fly,
Leave your troubles far behind you,
and ask no reasons why,
let the snow brush away your tears now,
when you feel the need to cry,
just take with you, my blessings,
as between the stars you’ll fly,
let my love be there to guide you,
from the darkness to the light,
and take with you the memories,
of the one who gave you sight,
one day upon heavens shores,
my light will take your hand,
and together we will walk as one,
but leave no footprints, in the sand.
