S... Happens - Whatever Happened to Karma?

S***happens, that's a cruel hard fact of life undeniable. A fact many people seem unable to grasp or accept. When you get up for work in the morning and are late for work because in your rush you spilt coffee down your shirt, and then your damn car wont start do you blame God? Do you shout and scream in frustration, your emotions running high, or do you just say to yourself its one of those things, accidents happen, cars break down.

If you're very successful in life, have a loving family, nice house, expensive car, good job, good health, lots of money. Do you thank God for your good fortune? Or do you think it's down to your hard work and being in the right place at the right time. Suppose you lost everything. You're sacked from your job; you can't get work so you end up loosing your house and nice car as you can't pay the mortgage or hire purchase. The stress it puts you under makes you ill, you get an ulcer with the worry, the debts are mounting, and bailiffs are after you. Your wife can't take any more as your loving relationship deteriorates and she leaves you. Eventually you loose everything and end up living on the streets. Do you thank God or blame God?

Everyday new horrors confront us on the TV and in the papers not a day goes by without another war somewhere, a major earthquake, or some other human catastrophe. Why doesn't God step in and stop it we ask, how can God let it happen? Well I have bad news for you S*** happens…

It's not God that creates wars and the immense human suffering that goes with them its governments and people. When natural disasters happen it's just that, natural part of life's processes. It's not a vengeful God seeking revenge it's not Karma for past bad deeds its just life! Its time humanity started taking individual and group responsibility for the suffering and horrors that surround us. Man creates his own stumbling blocks by failing to learn the wisdom of life, thus the path he travels proves to be an immense uphill climb full of struggle, conflict and pain.

How many wars have been thought in Gods name? How many millions have been maimed and killed, children taken from their mothers, whole families torn apart and destroyed in the name of God. How many times have you seen presidents and prime ministers quote the old "In God we trust", or "Gods on our side". Might is right?

God does not take sides. God just is the eternal moment of divine consciousness, the divine impulse that pulsates throughout the universe. God isn't to blame, God isn't guilty God didn't eat my cheese sandwich, God didn't will that millions die in war, God didn't make my car break down, God didn't spill coffee over me, God didn't decree war on the human race.

Wake up people! Its time you and I started to take RESPONSIBILITY for our lives. Blind faith is no substitute for thinking for your-selves. We are blind to the nature and beauty of Life and creation, a blindness that has been perpetuated for thousands of years based upon dogmatic religious beliefs, myths and fear.

The deal goes something like this ok; if we are good God fearing people and toe the orthodox religious line obey the rules don't question them and God will be pleased with us. Our place in heaven is assured, that person was Ill due to Karma, the earthquake happened because God meant it to right?

WRONG! Things are not as we have been indoctrinated to believe, we are blind and ignorant and ruled by spiritual fear. A fear of actually questioning and asking the why? Are we afraid of the simple truth?

When the bible says "come to me like little children" that's exactly what it means, with innocence and purity not pre-conditioned. Do not fear any retribution or wrath of God its ok to think independently, you can question and ask "Why" it's your fundamental right as a human being to ask questions.

The Gnostic gospel of Valentinus, The Gospel of truth says; "Ignorance brought about anguish and terror. And the anguish grew like a fog, so that no one was able to see. For this reason error is powerful". Makes you think doesn't it?, Most people live in a dream state, a form of blindness as to their true nature and the nature of God brought about by ignorance and the willingness to accept what they are told and read as hard fact. Never bothering to question, true knowledge comes about through self discovery. It's that divine spark of divinity that resides inside your heart that impels you, drives you, to open your eyes remove the blindfold and ask that simple question why and get the simple answer truth.

Anybody who questions the accepted view of "life", creation, God or what is really happening in the world is branded a heretic or a radical. Religion became corrupted when the leaders were given the task to explain gods will to humanity instead of showing them how to find inner direction and purpose in life. We live in a false reality that is controlled by religious dogma and those in power who want to maintain the status quo through fear and ignorance.

Blind faith means acceptance of an external authority real faith comes from self knowledge, from self knowledge comes truth.

There are countless acts of destruction committed in the name of God through blind faith by people that were oblivious and unawakened to the truth .Ignorance of who we truly are and from whence we came hold us in a form of spiritual bondage and oppression. There is an old saying Knowledge is power, when we get knowledge we have power over those that don't, why do you think there are so many lies peddled in the world?. It's because those that currently have the power and control don't want to loose it. When humanity wakes up and starts questioning a major power shift takes place, a power shift that is rising and growing daily. More and more people are questioning the accepted view of events, but questioning is not enough? You must seek and take action.

It's an easy way out to blame God; to not seek the truth of your existence and freedom letting dogma and someone else's will replace your own. To role over subdued. Seek God and seek freedom with your conscious awareness of who you really are, regain your power through truth and knowledge.

That great mystic Louis Claude St Martine said "For man life is made up of two days; in the first they believe everything, and in the second nothing. For some others life also has two days, but what distinguishes them from ordinary men is that in the first they believe only in illusions, and these are nothing; while in the second they believe in everything, for they believe in truth, which is all".
