Have you ever wondered why you were born into your particular family situation? I sure did.
I was born in Japan as a foreigner and, because of my dad’s career, our family moved around a lot. It was hard growing up that way, and I used to wonder why . . .
Why this family? Why these parents? Was I secretly adopted and never told?
But once I started working beyond the veil, connecting with my higher self and deciphering my life blueprint, I could clearly see why I chose the circumstances of my birth.
For starters, I needed a connection to Japan and feel comfortable with the culture. My wife and spiritual partner choose to incarnate as Japanese this time around, and we had made a soul agreement to find each other and work together in this lifetime. So, I chose to be born in the land of the rising sun.
Also, as spiritual teachers and healers, our careers were destined to blossom in Japan, even though our home base is Hawaii. It’s all been part of our plan, and picking our parents was an essential part of the deal.
That’s right. We chose our parents. I did. My wife did. And so did you.
In this week’s video I invite you to ponder the circumstances of your birth and uncover the reasons why you may have picked your parents.
The idea that you choose your parents can be one of the hardest things to accept, even for spiritualists. But when you begin to see the wisdom of your choice, as your higher self does, it can be a profoundly healing and enlightening experience.
You may have had a sad or difficult childhood. Or maybe you were surrounded by loving people and your early life was relatively easy. Regardless of the details, it all started with the souls you selected to help you enter this human world. Your choice of parents has always been an essential part of your life’s plan.
